3. Budget your money wisely. When you are given a salary cap, make sure that you are going to use all of them but properly. There's no sense in keeping it when you could have used it to purchase better players and create a more favorable lineup for your league.

4. Always reevaluate. Because you are in dollar constraints, you have to ensure that you are going to make do with your limited resources and still get the best. That's how you get excellent returns for your investments. You also need to reassess your budget every time that you are able to get a new player for every position.

5. Don't play waiting games. This holds true especially if you terribly prefer a specific player. You need to get him off the market as early as possible. The tendency is there are others out there who may be sharing your desire. You have allowed other good opportunities to pass by only to not get what you wanted in the end. Bid on him at his most deserving price before other owners will do that.
